I have always loved giving gifts! I love brainstorming ideas and thinking of creative and unique things that I can give. I am also an early shopper. Because I like to be creative, I start thinking about Christmas in July, and I tend to buy baby shower and wedding gifts as soon as I receive an invite. On occasion though, I cannot for the life of me think of what to give. If you’re like me, you’ve probably googled ideas for your husband days before his birthday, gift ideas for mother’s or father’s day, or even ideas for a fun and unique neighbor gift around the holidays. In these situations, I’ve discovered that gift baskets are my favorite go-to gift. These come in all shapes and sizes, and can be customized for any event. Here are some of my favorite basket ideas that I’ve used in the past, and some others that I think would be fun to give.

Although gift giving can be difficult, there are lots of fun gift baskets that can be thrown together super quickly. I personally love receiving gifts like this, as there are so many fun little surprises inside. When it comes to what to use for the basket itself, I love to get something that the person can use again. For the bathroom or kitchen baskets for example, I like to use a metal caddie that can be placed on the counter or under the sink that is both functional and decorative. You can also find cute wooden crates or storage bins at TJ Maxx, Ross, or Target. I like to round out each basket with some cute ribbon. And even better, throw in a gift card to a local movie theater or restaurant that you love.
