For the kids...
Like I said, kids get bored of toys pretty fast. So, at least in my opinion, it's good practice to have a variety of toys to keep your little one entertained. And don't fall into the trap of bath-time can't be developmental time, too. Bath time can be a great learning experience! Especially with all of these fun toys:Boon Creatures
These Boon Creatures are so fun! They help to bring out my little baby's creative and curious sides by letting her mix and match the tops and bottoms, plus all the small holes that allow water to leak out. She loves trying to figure out how to plug up the holes and how to make her favorite matches over and over again. This keeps her busy for quite awhile, which helps me take a break while sitting by her. Or just getting some fun pictures in ;)
Boon Bubbles
These little Boon Bubbles are fun for a few reasons: 1. They have suction cups. What kid cannot get enough of pulling things off and getting them back on?! 2. They stack. On top of each other. Bubble towers, anyone? 3. Easy storage. Because of the suction cup, you can stick them right on the wall! Win. My little girl loves these bubbles; and by love, I mean is obsessed with. These are a must have for your bath time!
Boon Fleet Stacking Boats
These little Boon Fleet Stacking Boats are AWESOME. If you're like how I was in the past, you probably just use an old cup or something to rinse your child. Unfortunately though those can get grungy or they're heavy or they're not really little mouth appropriate...etc, etc, etc. That is why I LOVE the Boon Fleet! They are PVC free plastic, so my little bug can gnaw away! They also have a deep "deck" and a "rain" feature on the top to keep baby interested. These are a riot, guys. The simple things in life!
Boon Bathtub Appliques
Does your baby like to listen to you tell stories? These Bathtub Appliques make story telling during bath time fun for you and baby! They stick to the wall, don't absorb water so they don't get all nasty and smelly, and they easily remove! Just think of all the fun stories you can come up with, and eventually that your baby will be able to tell you with them! Because we know that our favorite things as mom's and dad's is to listen to our toddlers babble. I know it steals your heart away. Just admit it.
Boon Water Bugs
Water bugs are the BEST. They help your child develop their hand-eye coordination as they try to catch the bugs in the net. This can be a really fun game if you "race" baby to see who can catch the most, or if you can move the bugs away while they try to catch them. Literally, endless possibilities. Cute, fun, durable, and such fun games ahead!
Skip Hop Starfish Stay Put Stacker
Skip hop had a lot of fun with this one! The Starfish Stay Put Stacker can suction to the floor of your bath tub or float as your little one gets more dexterity. The starfish rings can also cling to the wall like the Boon Appliques as well as stack on top of each other. You and baby will love all the versatility so that baby can keep discovering new things every bath.
Skip Hop Turtle Island Playset
With the Turtle Island Playset you are probably getting the most bang for your buck - which we parents are always looking for. You get two squirty turtles, and a take-apart flotation cube with lots of fun, colorful island themed pictures on it. Perfect for your older children who are ready for imaginative play!
Skip Hop Sort and Spin Fishbowl
The Sort and Spin Fishbowl is the perfect toy for your older kids! It acts a sorter to help your children with their shapes, spins around to dump them all out, and also stores the toys when not in use as the whole thing attaches to the side of the tub. Can I get a thumbs up for toys that store themselves? LOVE IT. Deciding what toys to buy your child is hard. Make it easy by coming down to The Baby Cubby store in Utah or website to check out these versatile developmental bath toys! Talk to ya'll next time!
