The Azaria brand was started by two parents who wanted to create the perfect diaper backpack. They didn’t want to compromise on quality or on understated, gender-neutral colors and designs, so they started Azaria!
Their main bag is called La Mere, which means “mother” in French. It comes in many different colors and two different sizes to suit your needs. All Azaria bags are made from high quality vegan leather, and the interior lining is also vegan leather, so it’s wipeable and easy to clean!
The La Mere has 5 outside pockets:
- Two slanted side pockets with added depth for wide water bottles
- Two front pockets - a magnetic slip and a zipper pocket
- A back slip pocket
The main pocket has a two-way zipper, with 6 interior pockets:
- A deep zipper pocket against the back wall
- A tablet slip pocket with a magnet
- Two mesh pockets
- Two nylon pockets—one large and one small
It can be carried in 3 different ways: handheld with the top grab-handle, as a backpack with the detachable straps, or as a cross-body messenger bag. The best part of course is that you can fit tons of things inside!
Another favorite Azaria bag is the La Jolie. This bag is more of a backpack shape, but it’s made of that same vegan leather with Dusty Rose lining. The straps are wide and padded, with ergonomic shaping to keep things comfortable.
Like the La Mere, it has 5 outside pockets:

- A back security zipper pocket to keep valuables safe
The front compartment has:
- A zipper pocket and two elastic nylon pockets against the back wall

The back compartment has a 15-inch laptop pocket with a magnetic clasp and padding to keep electronics safe! Lastly, there are 4 metal feet on the bottom to protect the material from unclean surfaces.
If you’re feeling extra fancy, Azaria also carries a convertible tote-to-backpack called La Marche.
It’s made from that same high quality vegan leather but with a vintage style. It has a front magnetic pocket and a zippered pocket on the opposite side. There is also a turnlock clasp and zipper to open the main compartment. Inside, you’ll find 7 interior pockets, including:
- A padded laptop compartment with a velcro tab, which fits up to a 13-inch laptop
- One large zipper pocket
- Two side mesh pockets
- Three nylon elastic pockets of different sizes
Just like the La Mere bag, the La Marche can also convert from a tote to a backpack with the included straps. If you prefer, you can also wear it messenger style as well!
Their last little bag worth mentioning is the Doux Clutch. This is the perfect soft-body pouch, which can also double as an elegant evening clutch on your night out. It has plenty of space for your Azaria changing mat and diapering supplies. It is also a great place to store your wallet, phone, keys and more!
